She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lewis Mitchell and Bessie Jones Mitchell; her husband Hubert Bass; her daughter Merlon Evans; and her siblings, Lois Wood, Charles Lewis Mitchell (CL), Elbert Mitchell, James David Mitchell (JD) and Bobby Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Leisa Piccioti (Nick) of Princeton, NC and David Minchew (Peggy) of Buffalo Junction, VA; and her grandchildren, Fredalyn Gonzalez (Raul) of Princeton, NC, Eric Narron (Angie) of Selma, NC, Kevin Narron (Jennifer) of Princeton, NC, D. Brian Minchew (Karen) of Creedmoor, NC, Shannon Daniels (Ted) of San Antonio, TX and Ashley Gilbert (Dustin) of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
