She was predeceased by : her parents, Elisha Watkins and Celeste Minshew Watkins; her husband Carl Jackson; her son Mickey Jackson; and her siblings, Harold Watkins, Ralph Watkins, Ray Watkins, Mildred Narron, Myrtle Fleck, Lillian Narron and Doris Collier.

She is survived by : her children, Donna E. Jackson (Fred) and Steve Jackson (Hope); and her grandchildren, Phillip Jackson (Dana), Corkey Jackson (Tammy) and Lee Jackson (Janet). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jackson Cemetery (2788 Piney Grove Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542).

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Paralyzed Veterans of America 1875 Eye St NW, Suite 1100 Washington, DC 20006 in memory of Mary.
