He is survived by: his parents, Billy Wayne Hocutt and Clara Whitley Hocutt; his wife Tammy Lynn Hocutt; his children, Katelyn Hocutt (Codie) and Toby Hocutt; his sister Kelly Godwin (Jonathan); his parents-in-law, Larry and Gail Holland; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Holland (Janet) and Kevin Holland (Lorie); and his nieces and nephews, William Hocutt (Gabby), Ryan Godwin, Kristin Holland, Colby Holland, Kimber Holland and Julie Holland.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church (7438 NC-96 N, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
