He was predeceased by: his parents, James Avery and Wilma Mae Futch Rollins; his wife Mary Teresa Rollins; and his siblings, Scotty Rollins and Brenda Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia McInnis (Stan) of Selma, NC, Teresa Starlin of Selma, NC, Olga Shewmaker of O'Fallon, MO and Timothy Rollins (Carol) of Durham; and his grandchildren, Charles McInnis (Michelle), Amy McInnis Johnson (TJ), Jennifer McInnis (Frank), Stephanie Heath Thompson, Victoria Heath (Stephen Coleman), Brittany Crothers Holbrook (Andrew), David Shewmaker (Elaina), Joseph Rollins, Haley Rollins Williams (Clark), Maria Johnson (Joe), Mark Shewmaker (Wendy) and Stephanie Shewmaker (Larry Mendoza). He is also survived by twenty three great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
