He is survived by: his wife Maria Del Carmen Serrano; his children, Edwin Diaz of Selma, Fredix Guerra of Raleigh, Tania Melissa Palmer of Dunn and Karla Mable Guerra of Selma; and his siblings, Jacinto Guerra, Miguel Guerra, Victorina Pineda and Lucia Pineda. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
