He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jeffery David and Deborah David; his brothers, Sean, Jonathan and Jeremiah; his son Samuel Omari Gilbert; the mother of his child Symbale Gilbert; his son Tawanna Ross; his aunt Cecelia David; his uncle Timothy David; his great-uncle David Singleton (Cavel); and his godparents, Charles Dory, Sondra White, Beverly Lucas, Hiram, Patricia Jennings, Richard Bradford and Marcus Powell. He was also cherished by cousins, relatives, friends.

Jeffery began his education at JUNGO Christian Homeschool Academy, building a foundation of learning to love God, others, and his ABCs.
