He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Coats. He is survived by: his mother Judy Coats; his wife Lisa Coats; his children, Dalton J. Coats (Michelle) of Clayton and Katie Davis (David) of Clayton; his sister Joy C. Pittman (Paul) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Trey Davis, David Davis Jr., Damian Davis, Dawson Davis and Payton Davis; his nephew Robbie Pittman; and his nieces, Kayla Pittman and Carli Byrd.
The family ask that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation or to his spouse Lisa Coats.
