With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Wilson Edwards of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Wilson and Ruby Wilson; her significant other James Lee "Jim" Edwards; her daughter Tammy Lynn Edwards; and her siblings, Inez Wilson Creech, Donald Wilson and Charles Wilson.
She is survived by: her friends, Debbie, Sonny Howard and Woodlawn; her daughter Debbie Edwards Howard (Paul H. Howard, Jr.) of Smithfield; her grandsons, David R. Johnson, Jr. (Christy L. Johnson) and James L. Johnson (Amanda M. Johnson); her great grandchildren, Carlee Brooke Johnson, Mason Lee Johnson and Cambree Layne Johnson; and her brothers, Earl Wilson (Joy) and Eugene Wilson (Joan).
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Selma Memorial Gardens (Selma, NC 27576).
