With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freddie Linwood Thompson of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Freddie Linwood shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Freddie Linwood farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Thompson and Rosalie Holland Thompson; his brother Jimmy Thompson; and his aunt Clarabel Holland. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Kay Cross of Stanton, VA and Doug Thompson of Hope Mills, NC. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
