He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Curtis Dean and Rebecca Hughes Dean. He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Anson; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kaila, Bibey, Jacob, Dylan, Jordan, Leah and Devon; his brother-in-law Greg Smith (Faye); and his siblings, Troy Curtis Dean, Jr. (Jackie), Mitchel Curtis Dean (Carole), Dale Allen Dean (Tammi) and Wanda Kaye Dean. He is also survived by his wife of 42 years and their two sons.
