She is survived by: her son Chris Ward (Melissa) of Selma; her siblings, Donald Watkins (Debbie) of Selma, David Watkins (Sue) of Princeton, Rex Watkins of Selma, Jimmy Watkins (Heidi) of Selma and Bonnie Watson (Steve) of Princeton; her granddaughters, Leah Ward (Hannah Underwood) and Amber Berlind (Griffin); and her great grandchild Jace Christopher Berlind. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home Chapel (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Selma Memorial Gardens (Selma, NC 27576).
