We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2024, at the age of 56, Betty Lynne Rice of Selma, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Woodard Hales; and her stepfather Marshall E. Hales. She is survived by: her father Jimmy Lee Hales (Shane Rice) of Green Sea, SC; her siblings, Tammy Lienenkaemper (Ralf) of Selma and Jimmy Hales (Judy) of Sims; her nephew Brandon Jones; her niece Brittany Hales (Triston Norris); and her stepsister Shari Wood (Stuart Taylor). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
