With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Edith Johnson of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charlie Jones; her former husband Joseph Brady Jr.; and her husband Edgar A. Johnson Sr.. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Vera Johnson Wright (David) of Garner, Deborah Johnson Summerlin (Tony) of Rocky Mount, Wanda Johnson of Kenly, Edgar A. Johnson Jr. (JoAnne) of Kenly and James Johnson (Roxann) of Kenly; and her nephew Billy Jones of Smithfield. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
