With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amy Parker Desormeaux (Selma, North Carolina), born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Jackson Harper and George Thelton Parker I.; her stepfather Allen Stanfield Harper; and her brother George Thelton Parker II (Jane). She is survived by: her husband Mabry Joseph Desormeaux; her daughter Olivia Parker Desormeaux; her sister Stannette Harper; her nieces, Eliza Weaver Gingras, Amy Leah Weaver and Molly Jeanne Parker; her nephew George Thelton Parker III; her great-niece Ava; and her friend Sam Boyer. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Due to concern regarding the pandemic and wanting to spare others what she suffered through, the family has decided to celebrate her life at a later point with a trip to her favorite place, the beach.
