She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Childers Jr.; and her siblings, Edith Lee, Patsy Barefoot and Grady Eason. She is survived by: her children, Ellen June Farrar of Greenville, Nettie Scott (William) of Princeton, Betty Woodard (Mark) of Shallotte, Georgia Himmel (Mike) of Zebulon, Annette Childers of Selma, Alvie Childers III (Kathi) of Shallotte, Matthew Childers (Nickie) of Kenly and Mark Childers (Tonya) of Zebulon; and her sisters, Letha Parrish of Zebulon, Betty Lou Hill of Clayton and Teresa Shrum of Pine Level. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
