He is survived by: his parent Mannie Renegar Bumgarner; his wife Alice Johnson Bumgarner; his daughter Julie Monica Bumgarner; his brother Gene Bumgarner (Betty) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Arron Lane Hill (Emily) of Asheboro and Brittiany Lee Hill (Fiancé Jesse Barber) of Asheboro; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Elizabeth Hill, Violet Lane Hill, Gracie Leigh Barber and Waylon Lee Garland Barber.
