It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Karen Hayes of Seagrove, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Franklin Hayes and Edna Lee Jordan Hayes; her brother Noel Lee Hayes; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Beck Hayes and Donald Wesley Johnson.
She is survived by: her niece Julie Cox Stickler; and her siblings, David Franklin Hayes (Sue) of Seagrove, Ruth Hayes McNeill (Roy) of Seagrove, Gladys Hayes Johnson of Asheboro, Elizabeth Hayes Cox (Eugene) of Asheboro and Carol Hayes Edwards of St. Simons Island, GA..
