He was predeceased by: his parents, George Needham and Rachel Hayes Needham; his daughter Lori Needham; and his siblings, Moleta Staley, Emma Ritter, Mary Caviness, Vera Asbill, Luther Needham, Brewster Needham, Kelly Needham, Edsel Needham, Amos Needham and Monroe Needham.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Brown Needham; his children, Vivian Deaton, Charles of Seagrove, Tammy Garner, Andy of Denton and Joey Needham of Ramseur; his siblings, Rosa Owens of Seagrove and Hansel Needham of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Chad Deaton, Amanda, Ross Garner, Mindy, Rachel Garner, Rebekah Needham, Matthew Needham, Cody Wright, Caroline, Kaz Wright, Sherry and Tagan Silvers; his great grandchildren, Warren Garner, Camden Wright and Colten Wright; his siblings-in-law, Epsie Needham, Lucy Needham, Billie Needham and Floyd Caviness; and also, Melissa of Ramseur and Ruby of Asheboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
