He is survived by: his daughter Catherine "Cathy" Moffitt (Randy) of Asheboro; his great grandchildren, Andrew Moffitt and Pearson Moffitt; and his sister Lucy Ann Maness of Asheboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
