It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Cox (Seagrove, North Carolina), who passed away on December 25, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Martindale; his grandchildren, Donnie Marley and Jaime Handy; his parents, Eben Cox and Laura Gatlin Cox; and his siblings, Beulah Hayes, Irma Jean Brown, Howard Cox and Gilbert Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Chriscoe Cox; his daughters, Wanda Handy of Pine Bluff, Carolyn McCain of Radford, VA and Deborah Yow (Donald) of Asheboro; his siblings, Mildred Brady of Columbia, SC, Geneva Smith of Robbins and Perry Cox (Nancy) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Jason Handy, Jennifer McBride, Katherine Phillips, Brian Latham, Joshua Martindale, Alicia Martindale and Donny Yow. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
