He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Garner Asbill; his son Bennie Todd Asbill; his parents, Stacy Asbill and Ruth Moran Asbill; and his siblings, Clyde Asbill, Wade Asbill, Paul Asbill, Harold Asbill, Wilma Asbill, Elsie Kiser and Edna Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughter Toni Welch (Chuck) of Asheboro; his siblings, Betty Macon of Erect, Jeanette Reeder (Winfred) of Seagrove and Boyce Asbill (Betty) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Chas Welch of Asheboro, Cameron Welch of Charlotte and Caden Welch of Asheboro.
