He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lee Maness Garner and Willie Howard Garner; and his brother Boyce. He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Craven (Chad) of Seagrove; his brothers, Ray Allen Garner (Joyce) of Seagrove and Willie C. Garner (Joan) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Shandi Turner (Eric) of Seagrove, Mason Tucker of Seagrove, Holden Craven of Seagrove and Harper Craven of Seagrove; and his great grandchildren, Kyla, Izzy, Spencer, Nova and Liam.

Due to the current COVID-19 mandate, there will be no visitation.
