He was predeceased by: his parents, Taft Maness and Ola Maness; and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his children, Terry Maness (Lori), Randy Maness (Martha), Pamela Wilkie (Jim), Barron Maness and Derwin Maness (Tracy); his grandchildren, Philip Maness (Kasey), Brandon Maness, Ashley Allred (Matt), Brad Maness (Heather), Chad Maness, Jordan Maness and Ben Maness; his great grandchildren, Brianna Maness, Caden Maness and Andy Maness; and his sisters, Carolyn Bunnell and Sylvia Gibbons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (7418 US-220 ALT, Asheboro, NC 27205). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
