He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma May McPeek; his parents, Burl McPeek and Hazel Robinson McPeek; his son Donnie Gene McPeek; and his brothers, Ronnie McPeek, Sterling McPeek and Donnie McPeek.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny McPeek (Kim) of Leasburg, NC and Timothy McPeek of Seagrove; and his siblings, Lois Vita (Andrew) of Florida, Barbara Hovey (Jimmy) of Indiana, Jack McPeek (Joyce) of Ohio, Larry McPeek of Ohio and Bill McPeek (Bunnie) of Tennessee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
