He is survived by: his parents, Windol Martindale and Louise Frye Martindale; his son Benny Lee Chrisco, Jr. of Asheboro; and his siblings, Debra Stout of Asheboro, Tammy Pugh of Liberty, Gayla Martindale (Jon Whitaker) of Bennett and Keith Martindale of Seagrove. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
