She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Johnson and Hazel Johnson; her husband Bill Turner; and her siblings, Samuel Johnson, Loretta Buckner and Jean Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Carter (John) and Steve Turner (Robin); her grandson Brian Turner (McKenzie); her sister Sue Moseley (Donny); her sister-in-law Rose Beacham (Marshall); and her nephew Ernest Turner (Jackie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Dementia Society of America".
