He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Long and Louise Long; his wife Annie Bennette; his siblings, Louise Taylor (Seaboard), Bernice Sykes (Conway) and James (Pleasant Hill); and his nephew William.
He is survived by: his daughter Anne Gay Crews (Marty); and his grandson Matthew Crews of Creedmoor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
