It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Henderson Jr. (Seaboard, North Carolina), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Henderson, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Stanfield; his sister LaVaida Lawrence; his grandparents, John and Katie Stanfield; and his siblings-in-law, Samuel Darden, Herman Darden, Hollie Darden, Eugene Darden, Adell Richardson and Ruby Lee Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Darden; his daughter Jeri Aisha; his godson Regis Aymond Darden; his siblings-in-law, Azalia Darden of Brooklyn, NY, Joan Ann Whitehead of Branchville, VA, Lonnie Darden (Martha) of Jamaica, Queens, Jack Wright of Neptune, NJ, James Birchette of Asbury Park, NJ, Eddie F. Darden of Branchville, VA and Michael Darden (Bernita) of Boykins, VA; and his niece LaVaida Monique Henderson of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
