She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Neva Pearl Howard; her children, Ardavis Collins (Gussie) of Fairfield, NC, Carolyn Champion (Sambo) of Hampton, Thad Howard Jr. (Lettie) of Engelhard, NC, Annie Pearl Howard of Williamsburg Va, James Howard (Barbara), Coy Howard (Turecca) of Swan Quarter, NC, Devonda Howard of Engelhard, NC, Fontella Howard of Engelhard, NC and Linda Moore of Belhaven, NC.; her sisters, Ida Brock of Hampton and Ardelia Yarborough of Sandford, Florida; her sister-in-law Wilamenia Smith (William) of Wilson, NC; and her niece Mamie Morris of Manteo, NC. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
