She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy L. Allen and Asia Bell Stotesberry Allen; her spouse Chancy Junior Sawyer; and her son Joe Don Sawyer. She is survived by: her sons, Guy W. Sawyer of Scranton, Mike L. Sawyer (Charlene) of Scranton and John W. Sawyer (Lisa) of Pantego; her foster son Mike Blizzard of Scranton; her daughters, Juanita S. Acker of Vanceboro, Marlyn S. Bridgman (Kirby) of Fuquay Varina, Margaret S. Gibb (James) of Greensboro and Angelia S. Truluck (Robert) of Darlington, SC; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Sawyer of Virginia; and her sister Annetta S. Smithwick of Grifton. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
