He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph George and Frances Waters Carawan; and his wife Agnes Gibbs. He is survived by: his brothers, Mark D. Carawan (Pam) of Scranton and Joe Carawan (Donna) of Chocowinity.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carawan Family Cemetery (1465 Puddin Hill Rd, Scranton, NC 27875).
