She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. Sanders, Sr.; and her siblings, Abbey Foy Brunjes Anger, Theresa Foy Hall and Robert Lee Foy Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Sanders, Jr. (Carol), Elizabeth F. Sanders and Henry B. Sanders (Amy); her grandchildren, Patricia Thomas (Shane) of Canton, NC, Stephanie Zewatsky (Ryan) of Roanoke, VA and Morgan Johnston (Evan) of Winterville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Rachel, Kiley Thomas, Marley, Beriah, Caroline Zewatsky, Callie and Ethan Johnston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church (10255 US-17, Wilmington, NC 28411).
