She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas Houpe; her siblings, Captain Eugene L. Feimster, Billie Gail Moten and Jacqueline Rollins; her son Michael Feimster; her brother-in-law Ronnie Rollins; her son-in-law William Franklin Alexander; and her granddaughter LaCynda Feimster.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Faye Rucker (David) of Statesville, Gwendolyn Alexander of Stony Point and Ronnie Houpe (Maria Elena) of Florida; her brothers, John Feimster of Greensboro and Tony Feimster of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Rex Martin, Iris Daniels (Travis), Travis Martin, Shannon Alexander (Naiyma), Asha King (Franklin), Meaco Rucker (Wanda), Candice Feimster, Erin Taylor (Kenneth) and Eboni Preston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
