It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Lee Whitehurst Madison (Scotland Neck, North Carolina), born in Hobgood, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Thomas; her brother William Thomas "Bill" Whitehurst, Jr.; and her brother-in-law William Luther "Bill" Dean. She is survived by: her husband Bob Madison; her children, Kelly Lee Walston of Wilmington, Anne Coley Graham, Ashleigh Madison Terreo (Matt) of Savanna, GA and Brett Madison (Michelle) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Kendall Graham of Georgia, Erin of Georgia, Meghan Madison of Georgia and Hazel Terreo of Georgia; her sisters, Jacqueline Whitehurst Dean of Washington and Mary Ellen Padgette (Julian) of Hobgood; her nieces and nephews, Jackie Padgette of Raleigh, Blair Padgette White (Kevin) of Louisburg, Wayne Padgette of Rocky Mount, Billy Dean (Kandice) of Bath and Will Whitehurst of Florida; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicole Moore, Angelia Teague, Willa Dean, John Moore, Elijah Teague, Gabriel Teague and Emer Dean.
