It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queen Ester Reynolds (Scotland Neck, North Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Nathaniel Wheeler and Arrealers Powell Wheeler. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Hodges of Clayton, NC; her stepdaughters, Tarsha Worthington of Rocky Mount and Tanisha Oden of Greenville, NC; and her siblings, Caswell Wheeler of Scotland Neck, NC, Mary Askew of Elizabeth City, NC, Jenniel Wheeler of Bronx, NY and Jamie Wheeler of Scotland Neck, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Endstreet Bapist Church (1615 Kehukee Church Rd, Scotland Neck, NC 27874). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In addition to flowers, donations are to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Queen Ester Reynolds's name.
