It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Elizabeth Coleman Dickens of Scotland Neck, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Gardner and Irving Alexander Coleman; her husband William Lorraine Dickens; and her siblings, Irving (Adele Coleman Jr.), Thomas (Dorothy Coleman), George Lee (Lillian Coleman), Rose (Bert) and Sam Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Robin Dickens) and Jill (Frank Newsome); her grandchildren, Sarah (Jason Swain), Mallory (Kyle Compton), Brook (Edgar Markevicius) and Page Newsome (Amie Newsome) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Truett, Ellyson Swain, Coleman, Elizabeth Hayes Compton, Lilly and Lukas Raine Markevicius.
