It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Osgood Pippen Jr. (Scotland Neck, North Carolina), who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Elizabeth Benson Bishop and Marvin Osgood Pippen, Sr.; his wife Emma Lou Pippen; and his brother Robert Pippen. He is survived by: his children, Mann Pippen (Monice) of Edenton and LuAnn (Virgil Lee Kirkland) of Whitakers; and his grandchildren, Christopher Pippen (Jessica) of Chapel Hill, Craig Pippen (Dana) of Rocky Mount, Kristin Harkins (Robert) of Whitakers, LeighAnn Champagne (Kevin) of Whitakers and Megan King (Junior) of Whitakers. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
