He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hejnas and Helen Hejnas; and his sister Jean McCue. He is survived by: his brother Andrew Hejnas; his wife Margaret Hejnas (Peggy); his daughters, Helen Uzakewicz and Barbara Fitzhugh; his grandchildren, Lauren Wells (Delton), Heather Fitzhugh-Bowers (Durrell) and Douglas Uzakewicz; and his great grandchildren, Shyla Fitzhugh, Amelia Fitzhugh-Powell, Andrew Fitzhugh-Powell, Donovan Bowers and Amiracle Wells.
