He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Hughes Allsbrook; his parents, Beatrice "Buck" Shearin Allsbrook and John Lawrence Allsbrook, Jr.; and his sister Betsy Allsbrook Joyner. He is survived by: his niece Kelly Turner (Barry) of Butner; his nephew Travis Joyner (Jill) of Smithfield, VA; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madelyn Joyner, Chloe Turner, Jacob Joyner, Kai Turner and Keaton Turner. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
