She was predeceased by: her parents, George Davis and Nellie Worrell Davis; and her sister Shirley Davis Pendergrass. She is survived by: her husband Reverend James "Jimmy" Drake of Scotland Neck; her sons, Daniel "Dan" Drake (Kim) of Greenville and Brandon Drake (Colleen) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Hannah, Bethany, Sarah, Matthew, Elijah, Liam and Carolyn Drake; her brother Phil Davis (Dawana) of Red Oak; her close friend Erma Braddy; and her son Shepherd.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (5399 Old Wilson Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
