We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2023, at the age of 79, James Carroll Jernigan (Scotland Neck, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Dow Jernigan and Ida Holloman Jernigan; his sister Evelyn Brantley; and his half-brother Carlton Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Elouise; his son Kevin Jernigan (Toni Meeks); his granddaughters, Morgan Williams (Kevin) and Mollie Jernigan; his sister Rachel Tayloe of Franklin, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Alan Tayloe (Melody) of Franklin, Kyle Brantley, Kim Tayloe of Virginia Beach, VA and Joy Williams (Ricky) of Colerain. He is also survived by his family and friends.
