He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James and Helen James; his wife Sue E. Walston James; and his siblings, Jack, Ray James and Shirley Guy.
He is survived by: his son Charles James (Pat) of Hartselle, AL; his grandsons, Justin (Jennifer) and Michael (Patti); and his great grandchildren, Ryler, Emma Kate, Anna Claire, Darcy and Lola of Hartselle, AL. He is also survived by three sister-in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
