With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Britton Andrews Jr. (Scotland Neck, North Carolina), born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2020 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Andrews, Sr. and Hattie Jones Andrews; and his wife Eudora Helms Leggett Andrews. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Arthur K. "Art" Leggett, Jr. (Kathy) of Washington, Jeanne Leggett Stevenson (Fred) of Blairstown, NJ and Nancy Leggett Stevenson (Richard) of Scotland Neck. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; and sixteen step-great-grandchildren.
