She was predeceased by: her parents, Phoebe Katherine Harrell and Frank Benjamin Harrell; her husband Robert Lee Hopkins, Sr.; her son Robert Lee Hopkins, Jr.; and her siblings, Virginia Hollowell, Katherine Silverhills, William Harrell, Elbert Harrell, Marvin Harrell and Benjamin Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Marie Hopkins of Hobgood and Rebecca Hopkins Dickens of Scotland Neck; and her grandchildren, Chris Lawson (Cindy) of Chocowinity, Jason Lawson (Clata) of Scotland Neck, Michael Greene (Heather) of Rocky Mount, Gina Marie Dickens of Hobgood, Brooke Strickland (Michael) of Wilmington and April Faircloth of Wallace. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Praise and Worship Center (23775 NC-125, Scotland Neck, NC 27874).
