She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Pete" Boone, Jr. and Pauline Welch Boone Whitehead; her stepfather Andrew Franklin Whitehead; and her former husbands, Thomas G. Tharp and William Walston.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Elmer; her sister Helen Boone Stevenson (Charles Gwen Stevenson) of Mims, FL; her niece Carole Wurtzbacher (Chris) of Mims, FL; her nephew Mark Stevenson (Erika) of Brandon, FL; her great-niece Brittany Wood of Orlando, FL; her stepchildren, Ron Elmer (Cori) of Apex and Cheryl Elmer of Berkley, CA; and her stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Emily Elmer of Apex.
