She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Lorriane Woodard and Alton Leroy Whitehead. She is survived by: her son Paul Russell Harris (Harlie) of Tarboro; the father of her child Paul Ray Harris of Scotland Neck; her siblings, Beverly Whitehurst (Sonny) of Rocky Mount, Al Whitehead (Becky) of Scotland Neck and Bill Whitehead (Sue Clegg) of Rocky Mount; and her close friend John Gregory of Scotland Neck. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
