Claude Parks Boyd Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Parks Boyd Sr. of Scotland Neck, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Lee Boyd and James Elisha Boyd Sr. (Betty Ann Boyd); and his brothers, James Elisha, Harry Lee and Clarence DeWitt Boyd.
He is survived by: his son Parks Boyd (Susan) of Scotland Neck; his grandchildren, Dana Boyd (Sara) of Phoenix City, AL, Tracy Boyd (Aaron Houle) of Scotland Neck and Anna Paige Boyd of Scotland Neck; and his great grandchildren, Watson Boyd, Lennox Houle and Ivy Houle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service - Letchworth Chapel (101 W 7th St, Scotland Neck, NC 27874). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Cemetery.
