He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hale and Lila Hale. He is survived by: his children, Davie Hale (April) of Greenville, Sugar Edwards (Jason) of Rocky Mount and Emily Hale (James) of Robersonville; his grandchildren, Hannah Hale, Katherine Edwards, James Edwards, Luke Edwards, Pete Hale, Mack Hale, Evie Hale, Lily Roebuck and Grady Roebuck; and his siblings, Paula Hale of Raleigh, Linda Johnson (Eddie) of Scotland Neck, Tony Hale (Judy) of Scotland Neck and Theresa Hinnant (Danny) of Halifax. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
