She was predeceased by: her husband Leland H. Kitchin, Jr.; her granddaughter Tempie Gray Kitchin; her siblings, Nathaniel Flournoy Lovelace "Bunny" (Virginia), William Lovelace (Jean), Julia Lee (Perry), Sue Whitlark Lane (Johnny), Jack Lovelace (Daphne) and Mary Moss (Toby); and also Jewel.

She is survived by: her children, Anne Maria Warren (James), Hodge Kitchin (Jean) and Beth Bailey (Steve); and her grandchildren, Bo Burgwyn (Brooke), Walt Burgwyn (Laurie), Julie Coyne (Charlie), Boyce Moore (Jess) and Brad Lilley (Heather).
