It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Jean Warren Dixon of Scotland Neck, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Warren and Arthur Warren, Sr.; her daughter Terry Lynn Dixon; her husband Thomas "Tommy" Jeconiah Dixon; and her siblings, Alice Scott, Annie Hyde, Arthur Warren, Jr., Bennie Warren, Ronnie Warren and Harold Warren.
She is survived by: her son Tony Dixon (Christy Anderson) of Rocky Mount; her brother Ray Warren of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Jessica Dixon (Michael Cooke) of Gaston and Thomas Christopher Dixon (Stephanie Pearson) of Roanoke Rapids; her great grandchildren, Julian Johnston of Roanoke Rapids and Brendan Dixon of Roanoke Rapids; and her close friend Claudia Dickens of Scotland Neck.
